He dreamed he was walking along
the beach with the Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed
two sets of footprints in the sand,
one beloning to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the
very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life there is
only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most
you would leave me."
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffereing,
when you see only one set of footprints in the sand,
it was then that I carried you."

Correction:
God doesnt have child .Being a Muslim you need to have faith in the uniqueness of God.
Amir Do look into big precpective, "child" means some one who really loves us :) so i think we should look postive things :)

Well i understand you are not the responsible for the gentle poem of your student :P
Lets discuss it now :=).
Christianity believes that Jesus, is the Son of God and on the controray , we do not believe in such sort of things. No doubt Holy Prophet was the the loveable person before God. No where God mentioned him or any other prophet "oh my precious child".
Come on Man, we have to read between words and lines, don’t be so conventional that you just stick to words, we should focus on the idea. i am not justifying the author but I believe God love us more then parents love their childrens. So considering its the most pure form of love on this earth the author have affiliated it :)
i do understand ur point but as you ppl talk so intellectually on the blogs i guess you can read between words :)

secondly u must have heard about the statement

Nahi Amir to be honest she was one of the real intellegent student in the class . on average the class was normal but she alwaze did her work and was one of good students . i really appreciate her for that and i dont like k koi meri student ko kuch kahey sewaye meray :D
